Notes: Clubs are ranked by average home match attendances for Season 2009/10. FC Internazionale headed the list of in a top 10 consisting entirely of football clubs in Serie A - the top division in Italian soccer. However, it shuld be noted that Juventus, who are ranked 10th in this table, are generally regarded as the most popular team throughout the country and it also has a significant international following with supporters clubs around the world.
