Base: The list is based on publications in 24 leading journals in major business disciplines over the five year period 2002 to 2006. A single authored paper results in the school of affiliation being credited with a score of 1. If there are multiple authors the school gets a score of 1/n for each of their faculty members, where n is the number of authors.

Notes: The school produces a list covering the top 100 North American schools and also a worldwide list and by clicking on the link above you can see which journals are covered by the survey.
